Te Mau Aroha Inc was established in 2015 with a specific focus on ensuring the perpetuation of Māori knowledge in particular knowledge and teachings that stems from the Te Arawa people of Rotorua. Māori as of 2024 currently make 17.3 percent, which is around 904,100 thousand people of New Zealand’s total population of just over Five million people.We believe very strongly that the knowledge of our elders is equal to any other and has a purpose in this new age. We specialise in Māori dance, education, arts & crafts and have moved into mental, physical health and the revival of language.
